Historic Doylestown Borough has approximately 2,500 single family, residential properties. It is the geographic, cultural and governing center of Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Public facilities include the county courthouse and the county library. World-class cultural locations include Fonthill (Dr. Henry  Mercer Home), Highland Farm (the Oscar Hammerstein II home), the Mercer Museum, the Moravian Pottery & Tile Works and the Doylestown Historic District, all listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Doylestown Pointe is a small, new townhome development currently under constuction by Rock Hill Builders. Other new construction infill projects are underway on Hamilton Street and Oakland Avenue.
